Hi Rudy,
I am glad to see a change in your website in the shape of larger font. I was reading your site on and off for a number of years, but the tiny font finally became more than I could deal with.
I pray that Sam will continue to respond well to his chemo meds. You and Kafi are truly to be commended for the sacrificial way you show love to your son. Know for sure that my prayers are with you both.
I’m glad that you are making mention of Ed Gilbreath and his new book, Reconciliation Blues. I hope that this current swell of interest in race relations continues. Ed is an excellent writer and I feel that the LORD has positioned him in a strategic place to give voice to a message of hope. Thanks to you for the roll you play also. These are indeed exciting days in which we live as we see the continual unfolding of GOD’s Kingdom in our world.
Blessings,
Shlomo

This remind me of my missionary days in Puerto Rico. In spite of being a Puerto Rican, I always felt ignored when I was working in the island by my white missionaries colleages. So while I was “not one of them” in the Island once we hit USA ground for fundraising I was showcased as a product of mission work.
