4,000 Mennonite youth. Or is that 4,000 Mennonites? I forget. But what I haven’t forgotten is that I’ll be a plenary speaker at San Jose 2007 in San Jose, a Mennonite national conference. I hope they let me wear a lapel mic so I can roam around the plenary hall as I speak.
I like Mennonites.

used to be one — if it’s even possible to shed the identity apart from the clothes. it’s as much an ethnicity as being latino or hungarian. my experience is it’s a mixed bag. however, i’m probably in this ministry today because i grew up mennonite. no worries, only the really old guys still shun lapels :-)… curious if they even participate in the new unified mennonite usa.
(we share a spot in the intersect/culture dvd with ya’ll… UNITE. had read alot about and by john perkins… always interested in harambee.)
